Educational Qualification:
- Senior Scientific Officer (Toxicology & Chemistry Section Under Chemistry Division):
► Candidate must have a Second Class Master’s Degree in Chemistry from a recognized University or equivalent.
OR
► Candidate must have a degree in science having Chemistry as one of the subjects from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Senior Scientific Officer (Ballistics Division):
► Candidate must have a Second Class Master’s Degree in Physics/Mathematics from a recognized University or equivalent.
OR
► Candidate must have a degree in science with Physics/Mathematics as one of the subjects from a recognized University or equivalent
Experience:
- Senior Scientific Officer (Toxicology & Chemistry Section Under Chemistry Division):
► Five Years’ experience of analytical methods and research. (For Master Degree Pass)
OR
► Seven years’ experience of work in Forensic Chemistry
- Senior Scientific Officer (Ballistics Division):
► Five Years experience of analytical methods and research. (For Master Degree Pass)
OR
► Seven years’ experience of work in Forensic Ballistics
Selection Process:
Candidates will be selected through Screening Tests and Interview.
Age Limit:
The age of the candidates should be a maximum of 36 years or less as per 01 January 2023.
Age Relaxation (If Applicable):
Reserved candidates will get an age discount as per government rules.
- For SC / ST candidates: 5 years
- For OBC candidates: 3 years
- For PWBD candidates: 5 years
