Essential Qualification:
- Junior Engineer (Civil), Border Roads Organization, Ministry of Defence.: Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute OR
(a) Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute/ Board; and
(b) Two years working experience in Planning/ Execution/ Maintenance of Civil Engineering works. - Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical), Border Roads Organization, Ministry of Defence: Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute; OR
(a) Three years Diploma in Electrical/ Automobile/ Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute/ Board; and
(b) Two years’ experience in Planning/ 8 Execution/ Maintenance of Electrical or Mechanical Engineering works - Junior Engineer (Civil),CPWD: Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institute.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected through Computer Based Test and Merit Based
Age Limit:
- Central Public Works Department (CPWD) – Organization – Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical): The age of the candidates should be maximum 32 years or less as per 01 January 2022.
- Central Water Commission – Organization – Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Mechanical): The age of the candidates should be maximum 32 years or less as per 01 January 2022.
- All Other – Organization – All Other Post: The age of the candidates should be maximum 30 years or less as per 01 January 2022.
Age Relaxation:
Reserved candidates will get age discount as per government rules.
- For SC / ST candidates: 5 years
- For OBC candidates: 3 years
- For PWBD (UR) candidates: 10 years
- For PWBD (SC/ST) candidates: 15 years
- For PWBD (OBC) candidates: 13 years
- For ESM candidates: 3 years after deduction of the military service rendered from the actual age.
- Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof: 03 Years
